Description

If you have seen the size of update 2,3 then you amazed how bigger they are. The Visual Web developer is far less then the size of update 2 (1.8 Gb, 2.1 GB)

I don't have remembered but I feel Visual Web developer 2008 Sp1 have ISO. First time I see VWD I got ISO for VWD2008 sp1. I am not sure but it would be much better.

Like msft provide ISO for installing updated to sp1 (for VWD express 10) or to updated 4 (for version 2012). I thing updated you gave have everything that is applicable to VS ultimate. it's size is useless (maybe) for express user (since it's not included every feature that is found above version).

This will save time.

1. install the software > install update.
2. install the software (that is itself updated to latest iteration).

2nd idea is better and save time.

One more helpful thing is I found many thing puzzling with their OS and Visual studio updated that is not succeed on forum like stackoverflow.com. it will help them to be less frustrated (and make them more happy :) )

Thanks for listen this idea.

In the meantime, you can use the Visual Studio Update Web installer to download and install only the updates that apply to Visual Studio Express for Web. By design, the ISO file contains all the updates for all Visual Studio products. You can find the Web installer for the latest Visual Studio Update by clicking 'Install now' on the following page:
