Thank you for the valuable feedback. Though we will not have a chance to address this issue in Visual Studio 2013, we will consider this feedback when planning for future versions of Visual Studio. Investments in this area will be weighed against the impact of other customer reported issues. Please work around the issue by saving your changes in the settings designer, or closing and reopening the designer.

[Problem Description]:
Attached is an excerpt from Environment in which the problem was observed: My Win7 x64 VS2013 Ultimate. Checked by: Gekka. The dialog box that should open does not open with a certain operation in VS2010 Pro or VS2013 Pro. Thank you for looking into the matter. takezou2k

Repro Steps:
1. Create a project.
2. Open Application Settings.
3. Open the Browse dialog box from the Type drop-down list, and select an appropriate item.
4. Immediately select the Browse dialog box in the drop-down list (but the dialog box does not open).
• If a task (that causes the focus to move?) is performed between 3 and 4, the problem does not always occur.
• If a task (other than one to open the dialog box) is performed after 4, the dialog box is sometimes displayed.

Actual Results:
The dialog box does not open.

Expected Results:
The dialog box opens.
