The attached PrintError.cpp is a complete program that is used to reproduce the hang. Since this is a plot I have installed the pdfcreator printer from to show the problem. But I have been able to reproduce this problem on a lot of pdf printer drivers. The printer name in the printerror.cpp must be updated if other printerdrivers are used.
