Description

Visual Studio 2012 Tools for Unity hangs the application. Importing the package causes Unity to hang. Switching build targets results in Unity Hanging. Pressing play inside Unity causes Unity to hang. These problems are happening in Windows 7 and Windows 8 with Visual Studio 2012 professional. These problems do not happen in an empty Unity project, but happen in a more complicated one. Attaching a debugger shows that Unity threads waiting.

Thanks for reporting this issue.

We fixed the problem related to attaching in the upcoming 1.9.1 release.

All other issues are not related to VSTU but with Unity3D. You should visit http://answers.unity3d.com/ for that.
A lot of Unity freezes and crashes come from firewalls or anti-virus program.
